Finding your way around campus
UNLV’s interactive and printable maps help you find campus buildings, parking and access points. The map site also identifies rideshare and taxi pickup and drop-off locations, RTC paratransit bus stops and ADA restrooms. For citywide options, getting around Las Vegas by transit, taxi and monorail can be part of your trip planning.
For a self-guided visit, download the campus tour or pick up a copy in person. The route begins at the Office of Admissions and finishes at the Student Recreation & Wellness Center.
If you are arriving by rideshare or taxi, UNLV directs you to the Student Recreation & Wellness Center for drop-off; the Office of Admissions is directly north of its main entrance.
UNLV describes its campus as blocks from the Las Vegas Strip, making it possible to combine a campus visit with time in that part of the city.

Campus tours and prospective students
UNLV’s guided undergraduate campus visit combines an admissions overview with a campus tour, and you can add optional visit activities.
The in-person visit includes a 30-minute admissions overview followed by a 90-minute campus tour. You can also opt for a 30-minute residence-complex tour or an admissions-counselor meeting. College Spotlight Tours run at various times during the week, with their days and times shown on the tour schedule.
UNLV adjusts its tour schedule during late spring and summer because of high temperatures. Before registering, check the official site before you go for the current schedule.
Virtual undergraduate visits are offered once a week. They include a 30-minute admissions overview, a 45-minute live-guide virtual tour and a Q&A.

Visitor parking and access
Campus parking rules depend on whether you have registered for a campus tour or are visiting independently.
Registered tour visitors receive a parking permit in their confirmation email the day before the visit. Print it and display it on the dashboard; it is valid only on the visit date.
For a registered campus visit, park on level two or above in the Tropicana Parking Garage. If that garage is full, the Thomas & Mack Center is the alternative.
Other campus visitors must use visitor/pay spaces or display a valid daily, weekly or 30-day permit. UNLV lists short-term parking at $2.00 per hour and identifies a visitor lot at Maryland Parkway and Harmon Avenue; visitor/pay spaces are also available in other campus lots.
UNLV Park & Go shows real-time occupancy percentages for campus parking garages and works on a smartphone or desktop. Check the campus map to locate parking and access points before setting out.

Getting to UNLV
UNLV is about a 13-minute drive from A Fisher's Inn Motel. The rooms for a campus visit offer a place to stay while planning a trip to UNLV.
If you are driving to a registered tour, follow the campus parking directions for the Tropicana Parking Garage and keep the permit visible on your dashboard. For a rideshare or taxi drop-off, use the Student Recreation & Wellness Center rather than the Office of Admissions entrance.
