Dolan Springs

From Las Vegas we take a scenic trip with commentary of the great Mojave Desert. This section ends with a comfort stop in Dolan Springs - one of the driest towns in the world where families have to bring tanks to the single common well to get their water. From there we take a 20 minute drive to stop at Joshua Tree National Forest, where we have a unique photo op with these unique desert dwellers.

Grand Canyon West

Your expert guide will take you through the Hualapai Grand Canyon West Experience, including Eagle Point, with its world famous Skywalk. Additionally we will visit and explore Guano Point. We will enjoy a delicious lunch together at the Grand Canyon.

Hoover Dam

An hour in to our return to Las Vegas we will stop at Hoover Dam on both the Nevada and Arizona sides. Not only will we explore the dam, but also hear the stories of the men who built the dam, and far too often gave their lives so the Southwest United States could have water and electricity. We will also learn about how recent droughts have impacted Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the desert Southwest. Then it is an additional hour with commentary back to your hotel.
